Engr. Dr. Amb. Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo belongs to many professional organizations. She is a Fellow of many professional organisations including Fellow, Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), Fellow, the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FNIMechE), Fellow Centre Public Service Productivity and Development (FCP), Fellow Institute of Management Specialists (FIMS), Fellow Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), and the Institute of Management Consultants – Nigeria Certified Management Consultant. She is a Certified Mechanical Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN); Global Member, Project Management Institute (PMI), USA; Certified Procurement Cadre by the Bureau of Public Procurement and Chartered Institute Of Management Consultants (CIMC), By The Global Representative, Member African Business Club, Fellow Of Digital Leadership Practitioner (DLP) Certificate, She just launched her own musical label FunmiAyinke Record Label. She was singled out and honoured in 2020 with the award of Honorary Doctor of Science, Honoris Causa (D. Sc. Hons) in Public and Organizational Leadership by the European-American University, Republic of Panama. She also got Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) Degree in Public Administration from the Universite Protestante De LAfrique De LOuest, Port Novo, Republic of Benin.
There is no doubt that Engr. Dr. Amb. Funmilayo Mary Waheed-Adekojo has, within a short period of time, paid her dues in her chosen field of engineering profession, even as she has adequately demonstrated a very strong character in the area of philanthropic and humanitarian services as well as job creation and women empowerment, the avenues through which she is relentlessly contributing to the development of the Nigerian nation.
She has attended many conferences both locally and international some of which she was the guest speaker.
